God isn’t Concerned with My Comfort

Zechariah 13:9 
This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people, ‘and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.’”

I genuinely hate being uncomfortable. I hate being hot and sweaty, I hate being cold, I hate tight jeans and shoes that rub, I hate chaotic noises and awkward silences. I want to quickly do whatever it takes to bring it back to the median, perfect comfort level when I endure all the extremes that make me feel uncomfortable. Whatever that looks like, turn on the AC. Turn on the heater. Change into sweatpants. Say or do whatever comes to mind to make the uncomfortable stop. But what do you do when you’re uncomfortable on the inside? When you’re anxious and your spirit is unsettled? How do you fix that?
